From Chris . . .

There's a lot of talk about honesty and reputation in the automotive industry - and it's especially important when it comes to something like transmission repair.

If you value straight-talk and need to know exactly what it will take to fix your drive train problems, CP Transmission and Performance is worth driving to -no matter which part of St Louis you live in.

Why? Because We treat our newest customer the way we treat the mechanics and car pros that come to us- and that often saves people money because you won't pay for what doesn't need fixing.

It's often the case that someone thinks they need a completely rebuilt transmission when we find out it is a more minor problem.

Whether it turns out to be a simple fix or something more, you can count on the fact that we have state of the art equipment and many years of specialized expertise to help find out the exact nature of the problem.

In short, we have what it takes to get your car or truck working great again and we back that up with an uncommonly strong guarantee warranty.

I hope you gained some value by visiting this Transmission Repair St Louis website.

Our reputation is built on the accurate diagnosis and complete peace of mind we give to you the customer.

You have my word on that and my name is behind everything we do here.

I was talking to Tom McCallister who runs Speedway Automotive. I figure mechanics have a good idea who some other good automotive sources are so I asked him about who he would have do transmission repair. He told me C P Transmission was the one he trusted because he knew the kind of work Chris Pounds does and said he was a trustworthy guy. That was good enough for me.

Steve / Chris -

I am writing to recommend your services to anyone considering working with CP Transmission and Performance.  I was referred to you by a shop I trust, LC Automotive in Ellisville, so I was not surprised to find your shop equally trustworthy.  As you likely gathered from our discussion, you could make up auto part names and I would not know there are no such parts, which is why I try to work with people I can trust.

The bottom line for me is this - when a dealer or the chain automotive shops or the oil change bandits recommend a repair, I have no idea whether the repair is actually necessary or whether they simply are trying to fleece a customer who knows nothing about cars.  When your shop advised me that there was no urgent problem with the transmission on my '07 Acadia, it was clear that you operate a business designed to build referrals and develop life-long customer relationships based on trust.

Anyway, I greatly appreciate your honest assessment of the condition of my engine, and I look forward to doing business with CP whenever my vehicle needs service

Best regards,
