I was talking to Tom McCallister who runs Speedway Automotive. I figure mechanics have a good idea who some other good automotive sources are so I asked him about who he would have do transmission repair. He told me C P Transmission was the one he trusted because he knew the kind of work Chris Pounds does and said he was a trustworthy guy. That was good enough for me. I am writing to recommend your services
to anyone considering working with CP Transmission and Performance. I
was referred to you by a shop I trust, LC Automotive in Ellisville, so I
was not surprised to find your shop equally trustworthy. As you likely
gathered from our discussion, you could make up auto part names and I
would not know there are no such parts, which is why I try to work with
people I can trust.
The bottom line for me is this - when a
dealer or the chain automotive shops or the oil change bandits
recommend a repair, I have no idea whether the repair is actually
necessary or whether they simply are trying to fleece a customer who
knows nothing about cars. When your shop advised me that there was no
urgent problem with the transmission on my '07 Acadia, it was clear that
you operate a business designed to build referrals and develop
life-long customer relationships based on trust.
Anyway, I greatly appreciate your
honest assessment of the condition of my engine, and I look forward to
doing business with CP whenever my vehicle needs service
Best regards,
Patrick Murphy
